In the area of Bunker Supply, East Shipping Management Ltd works primarily with established Malaysian company - Tumpuan Megah Development Sdn Bhd (“TMD”). The company was established in 2007, and is principally involved in the provision of ship-to-ship bunkering services as well as barging operations. In 2007, TMD was granted a license under the Petroleum Development Act (“PDA license”) by the Malaysian Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism, and Johor Port Authority to operate at Johor/Pasir Gudang Port and Tanjung Pelepas Port respectively.
In June 2013, TMD expanded their operations to Kemaman upon securing a contract to deliver bunkering services to Talisman Malaysia / Petroleum Technical Services Corporation’s offshore support vessels. The company further expanded into the Kemaman Port inner port limit, having anchored one of its vessels there to supply marine gas oil to oil and gas offshore support vessels.
